Website Development Process

Our website development process begins with you, and ends with you.

 

1. Analysis, Website Functional and Technical Requirements

After contacting us, we will send you a link to our website development questionnaire. Fill the form and submit it back to us. The questions revolve around your needs and requirements for your website. Information and requirements given at this stage will ensure that during our first meeting, we will come prepared with recommendations, both functional and technical requirements, and even if time permits, a sketch draft of a website design that we would like to propose. In other words, we would like our first meet to be effective and efficient, so that we will not waste your valuable time.

We will then submit you a complete proposal for your website. If you like it, then return us a signed contract to commence work. If not, no worries. Keep the proposal for your future reference. At least you now know what you need for a website.

2. Design & Development

Using the completed functional and technical requirements analysis, the proposal, and all the supporting documents you have submitted, we will start designing a prototype website. At the end of this stage, you should be able to view and use your drafted functional website. Not to worry, it is not live yet, only working in a secured area accessible only by you.

3. Coding & Content Writing

If you are happy with the design, the look and feel of the website, we will now put in the technical functions into your website. That will be the contact us form, photo/image gallery, online store checkout system etc. Basically the functioning bits of your website. We will also insert the contents as agreed in the proposal into your website.

4. Testing & Promotion

In this stage we will perform rigorous testing of your new website. We want to find all the bugs and errors, including cleaning up anything that shouldn’t show up on your brand new website.

If your new website passed the test, we will now tell the world about your brand new website. We will submit your website address to major search engines, telling them about your website.

Oh yes, your website is now live!

5. Completion & Maintenance

Upon completion, we will hand you a complete manual (basically a how-to document) of your website. In the documents, we will show you how to manage your new website.

If you need any help or assistance in maintaining your new website, don’t worry. We provide free after completion support up to 6 months after date of completion.
